Utterly charming Dessy flowergirl illustrations

We don't know if we're more charmed by the dresses or by the illustrations of this whimsical flowergirls. Actually we'd love it if prints were available - wouldn't that make a pretty keepsake for the flowergirl? Does anyone know the artist?

We think it's hard to dress the 0-6 age range. Sure, there's a lot of pretty, frilly things but we know from experience there's a lot of dribbles, sticky fingers, grass to roll in and parents who don't want to race after their darlings with a wad of babywipes. So we're giving the thumbs up to AraVore Babies for their range of pretty but unfussy dresses, made from organic cotton, that would be lovely for flowergirls and little guests alike.

We always find Little Eglantine's collections enchanting and now they've let us know that they've launched a made-to-order collection too with luxury flowergirl and pageboy outfits without the price tag. Choose from the different designs, pick your fabrics and size and the pretty-as-a-picture outfits are made. We think this dragonfly embroidered white dress is summer perfection!

Cute as a button: Alfred Angelo flowergirl dresses

We know we've just posted about an Alfred Angelo wedding dress but we couldn't resist these super sweet flowergirl dresses that are terrifically chic too:

L-R: I love the deep lilac shade on Style 6606 and the pick-up skirt gives it some fun detailing - it's available in over 20 colours. Style 6610 is the picture of junior sophistication with a brown and cream print combo and a neat little corsage - there's a choice of 12 sash, flower and trim colours to go with a white or cream skirt.

Children's activity box from Les Enfants

If you're having children at your wedding, I heartily recommend putting some thought into how the little dears will be entertained. if you don't want to put together a gift box yourself, and they can be challenging, then children's party specialists Les Enfants have created a Wedding Activity Box.

Inside the white box there's a wedding activity book, stickers, coloured pencils, a card game, a board game with spinner and counters, and a keepsake box all of which are suitable for three to ten year olds and costs £18 each.
 
“Children at a wedding can be lovely, but long speeches and having to sit still can test the patience of even the most angelic child. Normally parents have to pack a few toys or crayons in their bag when going to a wedding with their children. New flowergirl and pageboy outfits from Little Eglantine

I'm a huge fan of Little Eglantine's creations. The dresses are breathtakingly pretty and the pageboy outfits are special without being, well, for want of a better word, sissy. The latest to be added to the already gorgeous collection is the blue-sprigged Marie flowergirl dress (£205) and Arthur pageboy outfit(£170).
